As a volunteer-centered organization, the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers is essential to our ability to provide free, high-quality health care.

The Clinic is a patient-centered environment in which caring for the uninsured and under-served is fulfilling and gratifying. Contributing your time and expertise can help make a significant difference in the lives of those who live right here in our community.

Clinical Positions

These include licensed healthcare professionals who are interested in joining our outstanding team of medical and dental volunteers. Click VIEW MORE below for more details.

Clinical volunteers are an invaluable part of how we serve our patients. Most care is provided by volunteers as our team of paid staff is small.

Available clinical positions include but are not limited to:

  • Physicians
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Registered Nurses or LPNs
  • Medical Assistants
  • Dentists
  • Dental Hygienists
  • Dental Assistants

Non-Clinical Positions

Non-clinical volunteers serve in those positions that do not require a credential through the Washington State Department of Health.

Available positions primarily include Spanish medical interpreters as well as a limited number of administrative volunteers. Click VIEW MORE below for current non-clinical openings.

Current openings for non-clinical positions are:

  • Spanish medical interpreters
  • Facilities (handyman, grounds crew)

All Volunteer Applicants Must:

  • Be able to communicate in English.

  • Be willing to sign the Ethics Statement.

  • Be willing to support the Statement of Faith (those in leadership sign this document).

  • If a current patient, wait until 6 months after last patient visit at Grace Clinic.

  • Complete the application including the criminal history/background check.

  • Be 18 years of age or older if serving in the following teams: Medical provider, nursing, interpreting for clinical areas, reception (unless currently enrolled in work study program).

  • Be willing to complete a volunteer orientation include reading a volunteer handbook and participating in a team specific orientation.

  • Be willing to submit to the leadership of the Volunteer Team Leader and clinic staff members.
